How to view Italian cadastral maps on iPhone

Prepare before leaving mobile coverage

Check the country coverage and retrieve the parcel while connected. Save the result and confirm it can be reopened before travelling. A blank result may mean unsupported coverage or a temporarily unavailable source; it does not prove that no parcel exists.

Record the parcel identifier, source and retrieval date alongside your field notes. Compare the map with what you observe without treating GPS or a drawn line as a surveyed boundary.

Step by step

Stand on the land. Open the satellite or standard map and tap the point. One parcel is retrieved at a time from the official service.
Read the outline. Compare the parcel geometry against what you can see, using the satellite view as a reference.
Measure in place. Read approximate area, perimeter and distances directly on the map.
Save and export. Save the parcel for offline reference. Pro adds notes, labels and locally stored photos, and exports PDF, GeoJSON or KML with source attribution.

What you get and where it comes from

The service provides cadastral geometry. It does not return ownership records or a visura.

Honest limits

Read this before relying on a result.

Coverage is Italy excluding the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano, which administer their own cadastre.
Outlines and measurements are informational and may be incomplete or outdated.
They are not surveys, certificates, titles or legally valid boundary determinations.

Questions

Does Boundara provide a visura catastale?

No. The service returns cadastral geometry, not ownership records. A visura must be obtained through Agenzia delle Entrate channels.

Does it cover Trentino-Alto Adige?

No. Trento and Bolzano administer their cadastre separately and are outside coverage.

Is the measured area legally valid?

No. It is approximate and informational, and does not replace a professional survey.

Do I need a connection?

Saved parcels open offline. Retrieving a new parcel requires access to the official service.
