How to check a Polish land parcel on iPhone

Prepare before leaving mobile coverage

Check the country coverage and retrieve the parcel while connected. Save the result and confirm it can be reopened before travelling. A blank result may mean unsupported coverage or a temporarily unavailable source; it does not prove that no parcel exists.

Record the parcel identifier, source and retrieval date alongside your field notes. Compare the map with what you observe without treating GPS or a drawn line as a surveyed boundary.

Step by step

  1. Stand on the parcel. Open the satellite or standard map and tap the point. One parcel is retrieved at a time from the official service.
  2. Check the shape. Compare the parcel geometry with what you can see on the ground, using the satellite basemap.
  3. Measure in place. Read approximate area, perimeter and distances directly on the map.
  4. Save and export. Save the parcel for offline use. Pro adds notes, labels and locally stored photos, and exports PDF, GeoJSON or KML with source attribution.

What you get and where it comes from

  • Source: GUGiK, land and building register (EGiB) via the ULDK service, under Geoportal terms.
  • Every result identifies its source, retrieval date, licence and any transformation applied.
  • The service returns parcel geometry and basic identifiers. No ownership data is requested or shown.

Honest limits

Read this before relying on a result.

  • Local coverage gaps are possible, depending on the data each county publishes.
  • Outlines and measurements are informational and may be incomplete or outdated.
  • They are not surveys, official documents, titles or legally binding boundary determinations.
  • Boundara is independent and is not sponsored, certified or endorsed by any public authority.

Questions

Will I see the owner of a parcel?

No. The service returns geometry and basic identifiers only. Ownership data is neither requested nor displayed.

Does this replace an official extract?

No. It is an informational tool. Official documents are issued by the competent authority.

Does it work without signal?

Saved parcels open offline. Retrieving a new parcel requires access to the official service.

Is the area measurement binding?

No. It is approximate and informational and does not replace a surveyor’s measurement.
