Prepare before leaving mobile coverage

Check the country coverage and retrieve the parcel while connected. Save the result and confirm it can be reopened before travelling. A blank result may mean unsupported coverage or a temporarily unavailable source; it does not prove that no parcel exists.

Record the parcel identifier, source and retrieval date alongside your field notes. Compare the map with what you observe without treating GPS or a drawn line as a surveyed boundary.

Step by step

  1. Stand on the land. Open the satellite or standard map and tap the point. Boundara retrieves one parcel at a time from the official service.
  2. Overlay SIGPAC. Turn on the SIGPAC layer to compare the current agricultural plot against the cadastral outline.
  3. Measure in place. Read approximate area, perimeter and distances directly on the map.
  4. Save and export. Save the parcel for offline reference. Essentials adds notes, labels, locally stored photos, and PDF, GeoJSON or KML exports with source attribution.

What you get and where it comes from

  • Source: Dirección General del Catastro, INSPIRE Cadastral Cartography — Cadastral Parcel (CP), under its official access and use licence.
  • Every result identifies its source, retrieval date, licence and any transformation applied.
  • The SIGPAC layer comes from the official service and is shown as an overlay, not as a replacement for the cadastre.
  • Saved parcels, notes and photos stay on the device.

Honest limits

Read this before relying on a result.

  • Spain is covered through the DGC and the separate foral cadastral sources for Navarre and the Basque Country.
  • Outlines and measurements are informational and may be incomplete or outdated.
  • They are not surveys, certificates, titles or legally valid boundary determinations.
  • Boundara is independent and is not sponsored, certified or endorsed by any public authority.

Questions

Do I need a digital certificate to check the Spanish cadastre?

No. The INSPIRE cadastral cartography is an open public service. Boundara queries it without a certificate, account or registration.

Does it cover Navarra and the Basque Country?

Yes. Boundara uses their separate foral sources in addition to the Dirección General del Catastro service.

Is the measured area legally usable?

No. It is an approximate, informational measurement and does not replace a survey or a certificate.

Does it work without signal?

Saved parcels open offline. Retrieving a new parcel needs access to the official service.
