Prepare before leaving mobile coverage
Check the country coverage and retrieve the parcel while connected. Save the result and confirm it can be reopened before travelling. A blank result may mean unsupported coverage or a temporarily unavailable source; it does not prove that no parcel exists.
Record the parcel identifier, source and retrieval date alongside your field notes. Compare the map with what you observe without treating GPS or a drawn line as a surveyed boundary.
Step by step
- Stand on the parcel. Open the satellite or standard map and tap the point. One parcel is retrieved at a time.
- Compare with the ground. Check the parcel geometry against what you can see, using the satellite view.
- Measure in place. Read approximate area, perimeter and distances directly on the map.
- Save and export. Save the parcel for offline reference. Essentials adds notes, labels, locally stored photos, and PDF, GeoJSON or KML exports with source attribution.
What you get and where it comes from
- Source: Kadaster / PDOK, BRK Kadastrale Kaart OGC API, CC BY 4.0 and CC-BY Kadaster NL.
- Every result identifies its source, retrieval date, licence and any transformation applied.
- The service returns national geometry and basic identifiers, without ownership fields.
- Saved parcels, notes and photos stay on the device.
Honest limits
Read this before relying on a result.
- Boundaries are positional and are not legal measurements.
- Outlines and measurements are informational and may be incomplete or outdated.
- They are not cadastral certificates, titles or legally valid boundary determinations.

Will I see the owner?
No. Geometry and basic identifiers only.
Does this replace a Kadaster extract?
No. Official documents come from the Kadaster.
Does it work offline?
Saved parcels open offline; new lookups need the official service.
Is the measured area legally valid?
No. It is approximate and informational.
