Choose a parcel or your current location
In the field notebook, open Offline Maps. Select a saved parcel or use a precise GPS fix, choose a 1 × 1 or 2 × 2 km area, and start the download while you have a reliable connection. Boundara shows progress and lists the finished areas on your device. You can prepare several areas and remove ones you no longer need.
What you can use without coverage
Open a completed area to view its downloaded map imagery and the parcel boundaries and records included in that package. Your current GPS position works without mobile service when the device can obtain a fix. Saved notes, markers, photos and tracks included with the area stay available for field work. Available layers and cadastral detail vary by country, public source and area; check the layer list shown before downloading.
Across all nine supported countries
Area downloads are supported in Spain, Italy, France, Poland, Czechia, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium and Finland. Boundara uses the map sources available for the selected country. Some public services can return incomplete surrounding parcel boundaries, so the downloaded package may contain your saved parcel geometry without every nearby parcel. An official cadastral lookup for a new parcel still needs a connection.
Bring your Apple Watch
Downloaded areas and saved parcels can sync from iPhone to the paired Watch. The Watch lists received maps separately, lets you zoom and pan, and shows the current GPS position, outlines and markers. Open the maps on the Watch while still connected to confirm they arrived; Watch sync requires the paired devices to communicate. See the Apple Watch workflow.
Check before you leave
- Download the area over a reliable connection and wait for completion.
- Open the finished area on iPhone and confirm the map and parcel information you need are visible.
- If using Apple Watch, open its downloaded-map list and check that each needed area is present.
